EMDR and Flash EMDR are evidence-based approaches that help people process distressing or overwhelming experiences. EMDR works by supporting the brain to reprocess memories that feel stuck, so they lose their emotional charge and become easier to live with.
FLASH EMDR is designed for people who may feel easily overwhelmed, as it allows processing to happen without focusing directly on the traumatic memory. You will be instructed to blink by the therapist in certain patterns.

Both approaches can help reduce anxiety, trauma symptoms, low mood, and emotional reactivity, while supporting a sense of calm, safety, and choice. Many people find these therapies helpful when talking alone feels too much, or when they want change without having to revisit painful details.

I have trained in using different treatments to just talking so that you can get back to your normal life quicker and not attend therapy for years and years not moving forward.
Being depressed or anxious, having horrible flashbacks is not comfortable nor the place you want to stay.
Some therapists charge extra for EMDR or Flash EMDR, my rate is my standard rate.
