Diversity & Inclusion
A place where you will be respected.
Statement
At Counselling First, we work with people of all ages, races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, relationship styles, abilities, faiths and beliefs. We welcome people who are neurodivergent, people with physical or mental health difficulties, and people from different social and economic backgrounds.
We recognise that life experiences, identity and the wider world can affect emotional wellbeing. This includes experiences of discrimination, inequality, exclusion or feeling powerless. These experiences are taken seriously and explored at your pace, without assumptions or judgement.
At Counselling First we are committed to working ethically and fairly, and to continuing to learn so that our practice remains inclusive and responsive. If you have any access needs or concerns about feeling safe, respected or understood, you are encouraged to raise these so we can support you well.
